HOME INSPECTION
A complete home inspection is recommended and very important for anyone looking to purchase or sell a home. Purchasing a property is often a stressful situation and our job at GulfStream Home Inspections of Florida is to provide every customer with a professional and thorough home inspection that will report the status of all the components of the property, so the purchaser and buyer will know exactly what is damaged and/or in need of repair.

4-POINT INSPECTION
Many insurance companies now require a 4-point home inspection prior to having an insurance policy issued on homes 25 years and older. The need for this inspection will be based on the home itself, where you reside, and the specific guidelines handed down on behalf of the insurance company. The 4-point home inspection covers these four distinct areas of concern which are of the highest of liability for the insurance company: the roof, the HVAC system(s), including heat, ventilation, and air conditioning, the electrical system(s), and the plumbing system(s).

POOL AND SPA INSPECTION
A home with a swimming pool is a highly desirable feature for Florida homeowners and potential homebuyers. Prior to purchasing a home with a pool, it is highly recommended with having a professional pool inspection performed so the conditioning of the pool and the mechanical processes can be analyzed in advance.

INSURANCE INSPECTION
If interested in purchasing or selling a home, a complete home inspection is extremely important and highly recommended. MOBILE HOME INSPECTION
A Mobile home inspection is an important part of ensuring that all customers receive the manufactured home of their dreams. As with any large purchase, delivery and setup can be a bit of a hassle, and while all homes are built to the exact standards of the manufacturer before they leave the factory, there is always the possibility that something doesn’t sit quite right upon arrival. That’s why we recommend that home buyers educate themselves about the home inspection process and set aside time to do a thorough inspection.

WIND MITIGATION

A wind mitigation inspection (also called a windstorm mitigation inspection) is when a certified inspector checks your home’s wind-resistant features. In some cases, these features can consist of any of the following:

door/window coverings
roof contour attachment to your home
roof sealing to prevent water damage

Though a wind mitigation inspection is not required to obtain Florida homeowners insurance, it can certainly result in substantial savings.
